Emergency Broadband Benefit Program Exceeds 2.3 Million Households 

The FCC announced that over 2.3 million households have enrolled in the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program (EBB Program) in only three weeks.  Over 1000 broadband providers are participating in the program, which offers discounts to qualifying customers on their monthly internet bills.

FCC Fiscal Year 2022 Budget Released

The FCC released its Fiscal Year 2022 Budget  in which the Commission seeks a budget of $387,950,000. This would be a 3.7 percent increase over FY 2021 and includes staff increase of 78. Its top strategic goal is to “pursue policies to help bring affordable, reliable, high-speed broadband to 100 percent of the country.”
