FCC Releases Payment Methods and Procedures for FY 2021 Regulatory Fees
The FCC issued a Public Notice outlining payment methods and procedures for paying fiscal year 2021 regulatory fees. Regulatory fee payments MUST BE RECEIVED by the Commission no later than 11:59 PM, Eastern Daylight Time, on September 24, 2021. Note that a current and valid FCC Registration Number (FRN) address on file in the Commission’s Registration System (CORES) is required to file and pay regulatory fees. Fee payors will therefore need to have their FRN passwords available when entering Fee Filer. Fee payors that do not have an FRN should go to www.fcc.gov and click on the link to FCC Registration Number Commission Registration System to obtain one.
Nebraska is Accepting Broadband Grant Applications
Applications are now being accepted by the Public Service Commission (PSC) for the 2021-2022 Nebraska Broadband Bridge Grant Program. The application deadline is 5 p.m., Friday, October 1 and must be submitted electronically to psc.broadband@nebraska.gov. The Nebraska Broadband Bridge Grant Program provides grants for the deployment of broadband networks in unserved and underserved areas. Public entities and private companies are permitted to apply for grant funding as partnerships.
