FCC Announces Efforts in Combatting Unwanted Robocalls
FCC Acting Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel announced the latest efforts to protect consumers from unwanted robocalls. The FCC’s Consumer and Governmental Affairs Bureau asked major phone companies to provide free robocall tools for consumers to block these calls. Also, the Enforcement Bureau issued cease and desist letters to two more providers suspected of facilitating robocalls.
West Virginia Expands Telehealth
Governor Jim Justice signed House Bill 2024, which expands the use of telemedicine in West Virginia. The new law permits health care providers to practice telehealth in the state if they register with the appropriate board and complies with laws and standards of the state.
